Cimarron Firearms 1873 Trapper Features The Cimarron Firearms 1873 Trapper is built with a 16 inch barrel cut to a 1:20 twist rate giving it a shorter quicker handling profile than the standard length 1873 while still stabilizing .44-40 Win loads for consistent accuracy. Its 10 round tubular magazine offers a solid capacity for cowboy action stages or range sessions between reloads. The blued barrel and receiver finish provides classic protection against corrosion while maintaining the rifle s traditional old west appearance. This shortened Trapper profile makes the rifle noticeably handier than a full length lever gun an advantage when working through fast paced shooting stages or carrying the rifle on horseback. Genuine walnut stock furniture gives the 1873 Trapper the weight balance and classic look that cowboy action shooters and lever gun collectors specifically seek out. At roughly 7.06 pounds and an overall length just under 34 inches the rifle is noticeably lighter and more compact than its full length counterparts making it easier to maneuver through tight stages or carry for extended periods. The smooth lever action cycles quickly letting a practiced shooter run the gun fast without sacrificing reliability. For shooters and collectors looking for an authentic quick handling lever gun in a proven cartridge the Cimarron Firearms 1873 Trapper brings genuine walnut styling together with dependable modern manufacturing.
