Cimarron Firearms 1866 Yellowboy Trapper Features The Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy Trapper is chambered in .45 Colt and built around a brasslite receiver that gives the rifle its signature golden look alongside a traditionally blued 16 inch barrel. The shortened Trapper-length barrel trims overall length to a handy 34 inches making the rifle easier to maneuver in tight spaces like brush blinds or a mounted saddle scabbard. A 1:16 inch rate of twist is matched to the .45 Colt cartridge for reliable accuracy at traditional lever gun ranges. The smooth lever action cycles quickly letting shooters get follow-up shots on target with minimal disruption to their sight picture. A genuine walnut stock and forearm complete the rifle s classic Old West profile giving it the look and feel of the original frontier-era Yellowboy rifles. At just over 7 pounds the rifle is light enough to carry comfortably through a full day of hunting or a long string of stages at a cowboy action match. The 10-round capacity gives shooters plenty of rounds on tap before a reload is needed. Whether used for competition hunting or simply as a faithful piece of firearms history the Cimarron 1866 Yellowboy Trapper brings old-world craftsmanship to modern shooters.
