Cimarron Firearms 1860 Henry Features The Cimarron 1860 Henry is chambered in .45 Colt and holds 12 rounds in its tubular magazine giving shooters ample capacity for a day on the cowboy action course or in the field. Its 24 inch barrel carries a 1:16 inch twist rate matched to stabilize typical .45 Colt loads at the ranges the original rifle was designed for. The blued metal finish on the barrel and furniture contrasts sharply against the brass receiver recreating the look that made the Henry rifle instantly recognizable. At 44 inches overall and 9.15 pounds it carries the balance and heft shooters expect from an accurate historical reproduction. Walnut wood furniture wraps the stock giving the rifle a traditional look and a comfortable secure cheek weld for repeated shouldering. The brass frame is a defining feature of the Henry pattern polished to stand out against the blued barrel and lever. Lever action operation keeps the rifle fast to cycle a trait that made the original design a favorite among shooters who valued rate of fire.
