Cimarron Firearms 1866 Yellowboy Features The Cimarron Firearms 1866 Yellowboy pairs a brasslite frame with a blued octagon barrel recreating the iconic two-tone look that gave the original Winchester 1866 its nickname. The octagon barrel profile is both a period-correct detail and a genuinely stiff accurate design that holds its point of aim well across a shooting session. Chambered in .32-20 Win with a 1:20 twist the rifle is tuned to stabilize traditional lead bullet loads typical of cowboy action and reenactment shooting. The lever action itself cycles smoothly letting shooters run rapid strings of fire for competition stages. A genuine walnut stock rounds out the rifle s classic profile offering a warm traditional look along with the strength and shock absorption wood furniture is known for. The 12-round tubular magazine capacity gives shooters plenty of rounds on tap for extended cowboy action stages without frequent reloading. Cimarron Firearms built its reputation on faithfully reproducing historic firearms for today s shooters and the Yellowboy carries that heritage forward in a rifle ready for the range or the reenactment field. Whether for competition or collection this Yellowboy brings Old West craftsmanship to the modern shooter.
