Cimarron Firearms 1873 Deluxe Features The Cimarron Firearms 1873 Deluxe is built around a smooth-cycling lever action that has defined the classic western rifle experience for generations feeding reliably from its 10-round magazine chambered in .44-40 Win. The 20 octagonal barrel carries a 1:20 twist rate delivering consistent accuracy suited to both cowboy action competition and general range use. A crisp lever throw and dependable extraction make fast follow-up shots second nature once the rifle is broken in and the tubular magazine design keeps the rifle balanced and quick to top off between strings of fire. This deluxe configuration is built for shooters who want traditional performance without sacrificing modern reliability whether the rifle is being run on a cowboy action stage or carried afield for hunting and general use. The case colored hardened receiver is a hallmark of the 1873 pattern offering a vivid swirl of color that develops through the heat-treating process and sets this rifle apart visually from a plain blued gun. A finely finished walnut pistol grip stock rounds out the package providing a comfortable traditional grip that complements the rifle s overall balance and gives the shooter a secure confident hold through every cycle of the lever. At just under 8 lbs the 1873 Deluxe carries and points naturally for extended shooting sessions making it equally at home on a competition stage or a day in the field. Cowboy action shooters and collectors alike will appreciate the attention to detail Cimarron Firearms brings to this faithfully reproduced lever gun from the polished metalwork to the fit of the walnut furniture against the case hardened receiver.
