Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition Synergy 1911 DS Features The Great Lakes Firearms Synergy 1911 DS pairs a stainless steel frame and slide with a 5 stainless match grade barrel for tight tolerances and dependable accuracy shot after shot. The RMSc footprint optic cut on the serrated Black Cerakote slide lets shooters mount a red dot directly without an adapter plate speeding target transitions. An adjustable skeletonized trigger reduces reciprocating mass and lets the shooter tune pull to their preference while a beavertail grip safety and ambidextrous safety levers make the pistol comfortable and fast to run for right and left handed shooters alike. Fiber optic front and fixed rear sights give a bright fast sight picture that backs up the optic when needed. Finished in a two tone Black Cherry Cerakote frame against the Black Cerakote slide the Synergy 1911 DS stands out while the Cerakote coating resists wear and corrosion from daily carry and range use. A Picatinny accessory rail on the dust cover accepts a weapon light for home defense or low light training and the textured polymer grip panels keep the pistol secure in the hand under recoil. The double stack 2011 style magazines hold 20 rounds nearly doubling the capacity of a traditional single stack 1911 while keeping the familiar manual of arms. Two magazines ship standard and at 2.24 lbs the Synergy 1911 DS balances capacity with a manageable carry weight for range and duty use.
