Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition North Woods Features The Great Lakes Firearms North Woods in .350 Legend is built around a straight wall cartridge that offers hunters solid performance at moderate ranges while satisfying straight wall hunting regulations. The 16 barrel keeps the rifle short and light making it easy to carry and quick to shoulder in the timber. A bolt action design keeps the rifle simple to operate and reliable to cycle shot after shot in cold or wet field conditions. The North Woods pattern is purpose built for hunters who want a no-frills rifle ready for the stand or the still hunt. The 5-round magazine gives hunters enough capacity for a fast follow up shot without adding bulk to the rifle s profile. Great Lakes Firearms builds the North Woods to be dependable right out of the box with no unnecessary features to get in the way of the hunt. The .350 Legend chambering pairs well with the compact 16 barrel keeping the whole package light for long days afield.
