Great Lakes Firearms GL700 Sub-1 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL700 Sub-1 is built around an 18 inch fluted 416R stainless steel barrel threaded 5/8x24 with a 1:10 twist rate for consistent repeatable accuracy in .308 Win. The bolt action design delivers the reliability and precision shooters expect from a dedicated accuracy platform while the adjustable trigger allows shooters to fine tune pull weight to their preference. A Picatinny scope base gives shooters a direct mounting solution for optics without additional gunsmithing. For precision shooters who need a rifle capable of tight repeatable groups the Great Lakes Firearms GL700 Sub-1 s fluted stainless barrel delivers the accuracy demanded of a true sub-MOA build. The long strand carbon fiber stock keeps the rifle lightweight without sacrificing the rigidity needed for consistent accuracy while the Black Cerakote finish adds durability and corrosion resistance for field use. A manual safety gives shooters a straightforward tactile way to keep the rifle secure between shots. The threaded barrel ships with a thread protector giving shooters the option to add a suppressor or muzzle device down the road. For hunters and long-range shooters who want a lightweight accurate rifle ready for a suppressor the GL700 Sub-1 delivers that flexibility straight from the factory.
