Shield Sights Advanced Mini Sight Features The Shield Sights Advanced Mini Sight is the first enclosed emitter optic from Shield that keeps the company s signature Shield footprint so it drops onto a wide range of pistols already cut for that pattern. The multi-reticle version gives the shooter six selectable reticle options including a 2 MOA dot an 8 MOA dot either dot paired with a 65 MOA ring and an 8 MOA horseshoe with or without the ring so the sight can be tuned to precision work or fast target acquisition. An acrylic inner reflection lens paired with a crystal clear 1x hard dip coated acrylic outer lens keeps the sight picture bright and distortion-free in a variety of lighting conditions. Because the emitter is fully enclosed the Advanced Mini Sight resists the fogging and debris intrusion that open-emitter reflex sights are prone to in hard use. An aluminum housing gives the sight a rugged duty-ready structure at just 0.38 oz keeping the weight penalty on a carry pistol to a minimum. The sight co-witnesses with standard height iron sights so a shooter transitioning from irons to a red dot keeps the same sight picture reference they already trained on. Automatic brightness adjustment reads the ambient light and sets the dot intensity accordingly removing the need to manually dial brightness up or down as conditions change. Powered by a single CR2032 battery the Shield Sights Advanced Mini Sight is a compact enclosed-emitter optic built for concealed carry duty and competition shooters who want the reliability of the Shield footprint in a sealed package.
