Shield Sights SHIELD Mini Sight Features The Shield Sights SHIELD Mini Sight uses a 2 MOA center dot inside a 65 MOA ring reticle giving shooters both a precise aiming point and a fast-acquisition outer ring for close and mid-range targets. At just 1.70 inches long 0.90 inches tall and 1 inch wide the sight is small enough to disappear on a slide or receiver without adding bulk. Its glass filled nylon housing keeps weight down to 0.57 oz while still standing up to the recoil of pistol-mounted use. The SMS footprint mounts directly to a wide range of optic-ready pistols and small arms already cut for the pattern. A CR2032 battery powers the Mini Sight for up to 20 000 hours meaning years of service life on a single inexpensive battery before a swap is ever needed. That reliability is backed by a real-world record with over 100 000 units delivered and more than 15 000 in service with the British regular army and Special Forces alongside US Australian and New Zealand Special Forces units. The sight has also been sold under other well known brand names over the years a sign of how widely its core design has been trusted. For shooters who want a proven battle-tested mini reflex sight in a genuinely compact package the Shield Sights SHIELD Mini Sight is a dependable choice.
