Shield Sights Advanced Mini Sight Features The Shield Sights Advanced Mini Sight mounts to Shield s patented footprint enabling direct co-witnessing with standard iron sights that considerably reduces training time and installation cost on optic-ready pistols from leading manufacturers. Because the mechanism uses no click adjustment zeroing becomes infinitely more precise and repeatable than a standard click-based reticle. A large crystal-clear lens with no filters keeps the shooter s view of the world undistorted while the enclosed emitter design shields the optic from debris and moisture that can interfere with the dot. Machined from aerospace-grade aluminum to precise tolerances the housing is nitrogen-sealed and submersible to 30 feet for 30 minutes giving it durability well beyond a typical open-emitter sight. An intelligent on and off function remembers the previous brightness setting so the optic always powers up ready to use without re-adjustment. Shooters can choose from a 12-stage manual brightness adjustment including 3 dedicated night vision settings or rely on the 3-stage auto brightness mode to keep the dot visible across changing light conditions. The side access battery compartment accepts a CR2025 CR2032 or CR2050 battery giving users the choice between extended battery life and a more concealable profile. At only 36.9 grams without the battery the Advanced Mini Sight is the smallest and lightest in its class and an industry-first mounting interface allows aftermarket accessories like lasers lights and cameras to attach directly to the optic.
