Shield Sights AMSc Features The Shield Sights AMSc utilizes Shield s patented no-click adjustment mechanism which widens the limits of elevation and windage travel while making the sight considerably more accurate to zero than a traditional click-based turret. Weighing only 0.95 oz the AMSc is among the smallest and lightest enclosed-emitter optics in its class keeping the slide profile slim on a narrow-frame or single-stack carry pistol. The square crystal-clear glass lens carries no filters to disturb the shooter s view of the world through the window and the 4 MOA dot stays fast to acquire in both bright daylight and low light. An aerospace-grade billet aluminum body gives the housing the strength to handle the recoil and daily abuse a true EDC optic has to survive. A nitrogen-sealed housing keeps the AMSc submersible to 30 feet for 30 minutes so weather and moisture are never a concern for a sight meant to ride on a carry gun around the clock. The side-access battery compartment accepts a CR2032 CR2025 or CR2050 battery letting the shooter choose longer runtime or a slimmer overall profile depending on their priorities. On a single CR2032 the AMSc delivers up to 20 000 hours of battery life thanks to its automatic brightness adjustment circuitry so the optic can stay powered on and ready without a second thought. Built on Shield s own footprint the AMSc offers co-witness capability with suppressor-height iron sights and drops onto a wide range of existing Shield-pattern installations making it a natural upgrade for anyone already running the SHIELD ecosystem.
