Shield Sights SMS Mini Sight Features The Shield Sights SMS Mini Sight is built around a 2 MOA red dot reticle that delivers a precise aiming point without obscuring the target at close or moderate range. Its glass filled nylon housing measures a compact 1.70 inches long 0.90 inches tall and 1 inch wide keeping the footprint small on a slide or receiver. At only 0.57 oz the sight adds negligible weight to a carry pistol or rifle setup making it an easy addition for shooters who want a dot without altering the balance or feel of their firearm. A CR2032 battery powers the sight for up to 20 000 hours meaning years of use before a battery swap is needed which matters for a duty or carry optic that has to be ready without warning. Sold for decades under other brand names including Firepoint Tasco Optima Trijicon RedDot and JPoint the Shield Mini Sight design has a long history of proven field performance. Over 15 000 units are in service with the British regular army and Special Forces alongside use by US Australian and New Zealand Special Forces and other NATO units giving the design a combat pedigree that few compact red dots can claim. The retail package includes two M4x8mm and two M4x10mm screws for mounting flexibility across compatible hosts so shooters can fit the sight to a variety of slides and receivers without sourcing separate hardware. Finished in matte Black on the SMS footprint the Shield Sights SMS Mini Sight is available for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who want a battle-proven non-magnified optic for everyday carry duty or competition use.
