Shield Sights RMSc Features The Shield Sights RMSc Glass Edition introduces a new scratch resistant ultra clear glass lens to the proven RMSc platform improving optical clarity while keeping the same compact low profile frame that allows co-witness with standard iron sights. The 4 MOA dot reticle offers a balance between precision and fast acquisition small enough for aimed shots yet large enough to find quickly during rapid presentation. A parallax free design keeps the dot accurate on target regardless of eye position behind the sight an important feature on a sight this small and close to the slide. The sight is also compatible with night vision devices extending its usefulness into low light and nighttime engagements beyond standard daylight use. Housed in an aerospace grade aluminum body finished in an olive drab green that matches modern duty and tactical color schemes the RMSc Glass Edition measures a compact 1.7 by 0.9 by 0.9 inches. A variable intensity drive circuit continuously senses ambient target light levels and adjusts the LED output automatically keeping the dot visible against the target without requiring manual brightness changes. Power comes from a single CR2032 lithium battery and Shield Sights offers an optional battery draw design that allows a battery change without removing the sight from the pistol. Built to the widely adopted RMSc footprint this Glass Edition drops onto any mount or slide cut already built for that pattern.
