Shield Sights OMSX Features The Shield Sights OMSX is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum to extremely precise tolerances giving it a rigid modern housing that stands up to the demands of competitive use. Its octagon-shaped crystal-clear glass lens carries no filters to distort the shooter s view of the world beyond the dot which keeps the sight picture true to color and distortion free. Shield s patented mechanism allows co-witnessing with standard iron sights considerably cutting down training time for a shooter transitioning between optics and irons. Because the mechanism uses no click adjustment zeroing the OMSX is more precise than a traditional detented turret system. Mounting to Shield s own well established footprint the OMSX fits a wide range of slides and plates already cut for Shield optics simplifying installation on an existing pistol. Auto brightness adjustment keeps the dot visible across changing light without the shooter touching a button and the sight can run continuously thanks to up to 20 000 hours of battery life from a single CR2032. At just 1 ounce with a compact 1.61 inch length the OMSX adds almost no weight or bulk to a competition pistol. Combining a larger lens a durable aluminum housing and Shield s trusted mounting footprint the Shield Sights OMSX is a serious upgrade for sale at GrabAGun.
