Shield Sights OMSsc Glass Edition Features The Shield Sights OMSsc Glass Edition builds on the design of the company s RMSsc with a world-first translucent roof that opens up a panoramic unobstructed field of view. This roof design allows more ambient light to reach the internal photo diode which in turn boosts LED output for a brighter more precise dot in a wider range of lighting conditions. The transparent frame also provides a sharp clear reflective surface resulting in a crisp sight picture and improved reticle visibility compared to a conventional housing. A red light emitting diode produces a 4 MOA dot that is parallax-free keeping the point of aim accurate whether the shooter s eye is centered or offset in the window. Built from aluminum with an anodized finish the OMSsc is constructed to handle the daily wear of concealed carry while standing up to recoil over the life of the sight. The crystal clear hard dip coated acrylic lens is fully transparent at 1x magnification keeping the view through the sight distortion free for fast target acquisition. A lowest brightness setting compatible with night vision extends the sight s usefulness into low light tactical scenarios where standard red dots wash out. Compact dimensions of 1.60 inches long 0.85 inches tall and 0.75 inches wide at just 0.51 oz keep this sight unobtrusive on a small-form-factor carry pistol for sale at GrabAGun.
