Shield Sights OMSx Features The Shield Sights OMSx mounts to Shield s own well known footprint and uses the brand s patented mechanism to co-witness with standard iron sights cutting down on training time and cost. The sight has no click adjustment at all which Shield engineers into the mechanism specifically to make zeroing more accurate and repeatable than a stepped turret allows. An octagon-shaped crystal-clear glass lens carries no filters to disturb the image of the world seen through the sight keeping colors true and the picture distortion free. The 8 MOA dot and the 80 percent larger lens area over the Mini-Sight line combine to speed up target transitions and widen situational awareness in fast-paced competition stages. The housing is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum to tight tolerances giving the OMSx an attractive modern look while keeping total weight to just 1 oz excluding the battery. Auto brightness adjustment keeps the dot visible across changing light without the shooter touching a control so the optic can stay powered on and ready at all times. A single CR2032 battery delivers up to 20 000 hours of average daylight runtime meaning the sight is essentially always ready when it is needed. Finished in black anodize over an aluminum body the Shield Sights OMSx is a rugged glass-lensed red dot built for shooters who demand speed and reliability on the clock.
