Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel is machined from stainless steel and chambered in 6mm Creedmoor engineered as a pre-fit replacement that bolts directly onto a Tikka T3X action without additional gunsmithing. PROOF s PXT technology delivers the accuracy and consistency shooters expect from a precision barrel while keeping the fitting process straightforward. A 1:7.5 twist rate stabilizes the heavier high-BC bullets favored in 6mm Creedmoor long-range loads. At 18 in length the barrel balances maneuverability with the velocity needed for extended-range accuracy. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake giving shooters the flexibility to tune recoil management or sound signature to their preference. At 2 lbs 10 oz the barrel adds precision without excessive weight forward of the action. The stainless steel finish resists corrosion and wear through repeated range sessions and field use. The Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel offers Tikka T3X owners a straightforward path to improved long-range performance in 6mm Creedmoor.
