Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel is machined specifically to the Tikka T3X action s exact dimensions allowing shooters to swap barrels without sending the rifle out for custom chambering or fitting work. Proof s PXT technology is built into the barrel s design to deliver improved accuracy and consistency compared to a factory stock barrel. A 1:10 twist rate stabilizes a broad range of .300 Win Mag bullet weights giving shooters flexibility in load selection for hunting or long range shooting. The 24 inch length balances velocity gains with a manageable overall rifle length for field use. Threaded 5/8x24 at the muzzle the barrel accepts a suppressor or muzzle brake for reduced recoil and improved follow up shot speed. Finished in stainless steel the barrel resists corrosion and wear while standing up to repeated exposure to the elements during hunting season. At 2 pounds 10 ounces the barrel keeps the completed rifle balanced and manageable to carry over long distances. The Proof Research Pre-Fit PXT Barrel is available for sale at GrabAGun for Tikka T3X shooters who want a precision upgrade without custom gunsmithing.
