Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix barrel is finished in stainless steel and chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor giving precision shooters a drop in replacement barrel built to Proof Research s exacting tolerances. The 1 in 7.5 twist rate is matched to stabilize the heavier higher ballistic coefficient bullets favored by long range 6.5 Creedmoor shooters. At 18 inches the barrel length balances velocity retention with a more maneuverable overall rifle length for field and precision rifle series use. Threaded 5/8x24 at the muzzle it accepts standard muzzle brakes suppressors and other devices without needing additional gunsmithing work. Weighing 2 pounds 5 ounces the Q Fix keeps the rifle s overall weight manageable while still delivering the rigidity needed for consistent repeatable accuracy. Proof Research barrels are built as part of the Pre-Fit Series specifically to simplify the barrel swapping process for shooters who want to change chamberings or refresh a worn barrel. The stainless steel construction offers excellent corrosion resistance alongside the accuracy benefits that have made Proof Research barrels popular among competitive and long range shooters. The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix barrel is for sale at GrabAGun for shooters ready to upgrade their 6.5 Creedmoor rifle s accuracy.
