Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel Features The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel is part of the company s Pre-Fit Series engineered to install with minimal gunsmithing work on compatible actions. Chambered in .22 Creedmoor it carries a 1 in 8 inch twist rate that stabilizes the longer heavier for caliber bullets that make the cartridge effective at extended range. The stainless steel construction offers both corrosion resistance and the kind of barrel life precision shooters expect from a premium barrel maker. An 18 inch barrel length balances velocity retention with a manageable overall rifle length for field and range use alike. A 5/8x24 thread pattern at the muzzle gives shooters immediate compatibility with common suppressors and muzzle devices sized for mid to large caliber rifles. Proof Research built its reputation on barrels that deliver exceptional accuracy and the Pre-Fit Q Fix line extends that reputation into a format that simplifies the swap process for the end user. At 2 pounds 3 ounces the barrel keeps the completed rifle balanced rather than adding unnecessary weight forward of the action. The Proof Research Pre-Fit Q Fix Barrel in .22 Creedmoor is available for sale at GrabAGun for precision shooters upgrading their rifle s accuracy potential.
