EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Scope Base is machined from ultra rigid extruded 6061-T6 aluminum giving the rifle a strong lightweight mounting platform for optics. Its lightweight tactical design includes a milled center channel that trims excess material without sacrificing the rigidity needed to hold zero under recoil. Full width cross slots are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny specifications within 0.002 inches accepting either Picatinny or Weaver scope rings for flexibility in ring selection. The base is drilled to match the factory scope mount holes on the Remington 4 6 7400 750 7600 and 7615 receiver so no drilling or tapping is required during installation. Beyond its primary Remington fitment this base also fits the Benelli Auto Super Black Eagle Vinci and M2 along with the Weaver 93 and Stoeger M3000 and M3500 built after serial number 1368845 giving owners of those shotguns the same drop in optics solution. A matte black finish resists wear and blends with most factory finishes on these popular autoloading platforms.
