EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Picatinny Rail Mount is precision machined from ultra-rigid extruded 6061 T6 aluminum giving the Winchester 52 Target rifle a durable one-piece scope mounting platform. Full-width cross-slots are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specifications to within plus or minus .002 inches allowing flexibility when positioning Picatinny or Weaver style scope rings. This base carries 0 MOA of elevation which EGW recommends for shooting distances between 0 and 500 yards where extra built-in elevation is unnecessary. At 5.882 inches overall this mount is sized to match the receiver length of these classic bolt action platforms. This base is drilled to directly fit the factory scope mount holes already present on the receiver requiring no additional drilling or tapping during installation. Beyond the Winchester 52 this same mount is compatible with the Kimber 82C and 82G H&R 12 Winchester 75 Anschutz 64 and Remington 37 covering a range of classic rimfire and target rifles sharing a common hole pattern. Hex head screws and a wrench are included for installation and EGW recommends 20 inch pounds of torque along with a drop of blue Loctite for a secure long-lasting mount. The matte black finish keeps the base s appearance clean while standing up to repeated handling at the range.
