EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Scope Base gives the Winchester XPR short action a full-length one-piece Picatinny rail in place of the factory mount with Picatinny cross slots running the entire length of the rail for flexible ring placement. A bevel machined into both sides of the mount makes it ambidextrous so it works equally well whether the shooter mounts rings toward the front or rear for their preferred eye relief. EGW recommends measuring the hole spacing on the receiver to confirm it matches their published dimensions before ordering. A channel milled into the center of the mount reduces overall mass while preserving rigidity under recoil and in many cases the mount does not interfere with factory iron sight usage. Machined on EGW s own equipment and finished through tumbling sand blasting and Type II anodizing this base in matte black is built for long-term durability in the field. EGW recommends this 0 MOA profile for shooting out to 500 yards reserving their 20 MOA bases for stretching out past that distance and suggests 20 inch-pounds of torque with a drip of blue threadlocker during installation. Every component of the mount down to the mounting screws wrench and packaging is made in the USA. For Winchester XPR short action owners this EGW base delivers a precise American-made Picatinny upgrade without any drilling or tapping.
