EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Scope Base replaces a Winchester XPR s factory scope mounting options with a single piece Picatinny rail that gives a shooter far more flexibility in optic selection and ring placement. Its cross slots run the full length of the rail so the scope can be moved forward or back to dial in correct eye relief for whichever optic is mounted something a fixed two-screw base cannot offer. The base is bevelled on both sides for an ambidextrous fit and the center channel cut into the rail trims excess mass while frequently leaving the factory iron sights usable underneath. Built with 20 MOA of elevation it is intended for shooters stretching their XPR out to 500 to 1000 yards shifting the scope s internal adjustment range toward elevation rather than consuming it just to get on paper at distance. When zeroing a rifle fitted with the 20 MOA base EGW suggests zeroing at 200 yards to make the most of the added elevation range.
