EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Scope Base is precision machined from domestic 6061-T6 extruded aluminum giving Savage A17 and A22 Mag owners a strong lightweight mounting platform for their optic. Built in 20 MOA of elevation shifts the scope s internal adjustment range upward which helps keep the reticle centered in its travel when shooting at extended rimfire distances. Full width cross slots are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny specifications accepting Picatinny or Weaver scope rings and giving the shooter flexibility in ring selection. The base is drilled to fit the factory scope mount holes on the Savage A17 and A22 Mag receiver so no drilling or tapping is required during installation. At just 2 ounces and 5.882 inches long with a height of only 0.4 inches this base adds virtually no bulk or weight to a lightweight rimfire rifle.
