EGW Guns Docter Scope Doctor Mount Features The EGW Guns Scope Doctor Mount is machined from 7075 aluminum and finished with a matte black hardcoat anodized coating that resists wear from holster use and repeated handling. The mount is designed to simply replace the rear sight already installed on compatible Glock pistols meaning no slide milling or gunsmith services are required for installation. A progressive taper built into the dovetail eases the mount into position during installation reducing the force needed compared to a non-tapered dovetail. Installation hardware is included with two button head cap screws for Vortex Viper and Venom sights and two flat head cap screws for Burris FastFire and Docter style sights. Once installed the EGW mount allows a shooter to remove the red dot and reinstall their factory rear sight at any time giving flexibility between optic and iron sight setups. The mount measures 1.811 inches in overall length and 0.99 inches in width keeping its footprint compact and close to the slide s natural profile. An adjustable hex head set screw locks the mount securely into the dovetail and the mounting screws should be torqued to 15 inch pounds with blue Loctite for a secure long lasting fit. For Glock owners wanting an affordable path to a red dot sight without permanent slide modification the EGW Scope Doctor Mount is a straightforward durable solution.
