Full-width cross-slots are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs to within plus or minus 0.002 inches ensuring reliable ring compatibility across Picatinny and Weaver mounting systems. The built-in 20 MOA of elevation extends the usable adjustment range of a mounted scope helping long-range shooters dial further out without running out of internal scope travel. Heavy Duty mounts sit 0.100 inches lower than EGW s Lightweight line keeping the optic closer to the barrel s centerline for improved accuracy and a lower overall profile. Drilled to fit the factory scope mount holes on the Remington 700 722 and 40X short action receiver installation requires no drilling or tapping of the rifle itself.
