EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Scope Base is machined specifically to fit the CZ 457 s 11mm dovetail receiver converting it into a full-length Picatinny rail without any drilling or modification to the rifle. Cut from solid 7075 T6 aircraft grade aluminum the mount measures 6.276 inches overall and sits just .540 inches above the top of the receiver keeping the scope s centerline close to the bore for a natural cheek weld. The 0 MOA elevation is built for shooters working inside 500 yards where EGW recommends zeroing without added elevation bias. Picatinny cross-slots run the full length of the rail giving the shooter room to adjust ring position and eye relief to fit different scopes and shooting positions. The mount is quick disconnect ring compatible so shooters who move an optic between a CZ 457 and another rifle can do so without losing zero repeatability. After machining EGW tumbles sand blasts and Type III anodizes each base in a matte black hardcoat finish for long-term wear resistance. Mounting hardware including number 6-32 by 3/4 inch screws and a T-15 bit ships with the base and EGW recommends 20 inch pounds of torque with a drop of blue Loctite for installation. The entire mount down to its screws and packaging is made in the USA for CZ 457 owners building a dependable rimfire optics setup.
