EGW Guns Scope Base Features The EGW Guns Scope Base is precision machined from ultra-rigid extruded 6061 T6 aluminum to hold zero under recoil while adding real optic versatility to the Savage 93. Its 20 MOA of built-in elevation compensates for bullet drop at distance extending the practical range of a rimfire rifle before the scope runs out of internal adjustment. The full-width Picatinny cross-slots are gauged to MIL-STD 1913 specs within plus or minus .002 inch so the base accepts both Picatinny and Weaver scope rings without fit issues. Direct mounting to the factory receiver holes means no drilling or tapping is needed keeping the installation clean and reversible. At just 2 ounces and 5.882 inches overall the base adds negligible weight while spanning the Savage 93 s 1-5/8 inch ejection port receiver. A milled center channel trims unnecessary material for a lighter tactical profile without sacrificing rigidity. The base ships with socket head Torx screws and a wrench and EGW recommends 20 inch-pounds of torque with a drip of blue Loctite for a secure long-term mount. Backed by EGW s reputation for precision-machined American-made mounting solutions this scope base is a straightforward upgrade for any Savage 93 owner looking to run a modern optic.
