Cimarron Firearms USV Artillery Features The Cimarron USV Artillery is built on an old model frame chambered in .45 Long Colt carrying a 5.5 barrel that matches the historical proportions of the original artillery model revolvers. The blued frame and barrel are given an old-looking original finish replicating the aged patina collectors and reenactors look for in a historically styled revolver. A fixed front and rear sight setup keeps the sight picture simple and authentic to the era this revolver represents. The standard single action trigger mechanism requires manual cocking for each shot staying true to the operation of the original design. Wood grips finish out the frame giving the USV Artillery a traditional look and a comfortable period-correct feel in the hand. At 40 ounces the revolver carries enough weight to manage recoil while remaining practical for holster carry during cowboy action stages or historical reenactments. The six round cylinder capacity matches the standard single action revolver pattern keeping reloading procedures familiar to shooters experienced with this style of gun. Built for collectors and cowboy action competitors alike the Cimarron USV Artillery brings authentic old west styling to a modern shootable revolver.
