Cimarron Firearms Frontier Features The Cimarron Frontier is built on a pre-war frame with the original ejector rod style a detail that ties this revolver back to the earliest single action designs. A standard blue finish is applied to the 4.75 barrel giving the gun a deep durable surface that contrasts with the frame s case coloring. The case colored and hardened frame produces the mottled multi-hued pattern collectors and cowboy action shooters associate with classic frontier revolvers. The shorter 4.75 barrel length makes the Frontier quick to draw and point a trait suited to fast-paced cowboy action stages. A 6-round cylinder is chambered in .44-40 Winchester a classic cartridge that shares ammunition with many lever action rifles of the same era for a matched rifle and revolver setup. Fixed sights keep the sighting system simple and authentic to the original frontier pattern. A one piece walnut grip rounds out the traditional look while providing a solid secure hold during firing. At 39 ounces the Cimarron Frontier offers a balanced manageable weight for competitors and collectors alike available for sale at GrabAGun.
