Cimarron Firearms P-Model Features The Cimarron P-Model is chambered in classic .44-40 Winchester Center Fire a cartridge synonymous with the frontier era and still popular among cowboy action shooters today. Its old model frame design recreates the earlier style of single action revolver construction appealing to collectors seeking historical authenticity. The 7.5 inch barrel is a traditional length that balances pointing characteristics with the classic look associated with period revolvers. Fixed sights keep the revolver true to its single action heritage while providing a dependable aiming reference for close and moderate range shooting. The frame is finished in a case colored and hardened treatment giving it the mottled vivid coloring collectors associate with genuine period firearm finishing techniques. A blued barrel finish contrasts attractively against the case colored frame for a classic two-tone appearance. A one piece walnut grip completes the traditional design offering a comfortable and period-correct hold. Weighing 2.75 pounds with a 6-round cylinder the Cimarron P-Model is a well-balanced choice for Western action shooting competitions or display in a classic firearms collection.
