Cimarron Firearms SAA Bisley Features The Cimarron Firearms SAA Bisley is built on a pre-war style frame a design choice that pays homage to the earlier generation of single action revolvers before later production changes were introduced. The 7.5 inch barrel carries a traditional blued finish giving the revolver the classic dark steel look favored by single action shooting enthusiasts and collectors alike. A standard hammer and standard trigger keep the action faithful to historic single action design requiring the hammer to be manually cocked before each shot. Fixed sights round out the simple rugged profile that has defined this revolver style for generations. The case colored and hardened frame provides a striking contrast against the blued barrel a finishing technique that produces a unique mottled color pattern through a heat treating process rather than paint or coating. A walnut grip gives the revolver a traditional comfortable handling surface that has proven durable across decades of single action revolver use. The 6 round cylinder capacity matches the historic standard for this revolver platform and at 43 ounces the gun carries enough heft to manage recoil from .44-40 Winchester loads.
