Cimarron Firearms Frontier Features The Cimarron Firearms Frontier is chambered in .45 Colt and built on the Old Model frame designation giving it the slimmer profile and classic lines associated with the earliest generation of this iconic revolver pattern. The case hardened frame pairs with a blued 7.5 barrel a finish combination that has defined single-action sixguns for generations and offers solid corrosion resistance on the blued surfaces. A standard hammer and standard trigger keep manipulation straightforward letting shooters focus on fundamentals rather than a complicated action. Fixed sights provide a simple rugged sighting system suited to cowboy action stages or everyday range work. Walnut grips wrap the frame for a traditional in-hand feel that holds up to repeated range sessions and matches while the Old Model frame design nods to the revolver s historical roots. The 6-round cylinder keeps the reload procedure authentic to the era this revolver represents rewarding deliberate practiced manipulation during competition or informal shooting. At roughly 2.7 lbs the Frontier carries enough weight to help manage recoil in .45 Colt while still remaining comfortable to carry and draw. Whether used for cowboy action shooting historical reenactment or simply as a dependable range companion the Cimarron Firearms Frontier delivers old-west character backed by solid modern craftsmanship.
