Cimarron Firearms Frontier Features The Cimarron Frontier features a pre-war frame designation staying true to the classic SAA-style profile that collectors and cowboy action shooters seek out. Its 4.75 inch barrel is finished in nickel matched to a nickel-plated frame for a bright uniform appearance that stands apart from the more common blued finishes. Fixed sights consisting of a blade front and notch rear cut directly into the frame keep the sighting system simple and dependable for close and moderate range shooting. The standard hammer and trigger are built to traditional single-action proportions for an authentic shooting feel. What sets this revolver apart is its smooth walnut grip featuring a silver snake inlay on the right side a detail that gives the Frontier a distinctive one-of-a-kind look among Cimarron s revolver lineup. The 6-round cylinder capacity is standard for the platform and the overall build reflects Cimarron s attention to historical styling paired with modern manufacturing consistency. At 2.45 pounds the revolver carries enough weight to manage recoil in .45 Long Colt without feeling cumbersome. This Frontier model is well suited to both range use and display in a collector s cabinet.
