Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL10 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL10 is built around a billet machined upper and lower receiver set giving the rifle a strong precisely fitted foundation for long range 6.5 PRC performance. The 24 inch barrel is machined from superior quality 416R stainless steel and cut with 5R rifling at a 1 in 8 twist rate a combination designed to stabilize heavy long range 6.5 PRC bullets for consistent accuracy at distance. A 5/8x24 stainless steel muzzle brake reduces felt recoil and muzzle rise helping the shooter stay on target for faster follow up shots. The custom designed bolt carrier group and charging handle round out a rifle built from the ground up for reliable cycling. A 20 inch M-Lok aluminum handguard with an upper Picatinny rail gives the shooter room to mount optics lights bipods and other accessories without crowding the barrel. The Hogue fixed rifle stock in black provides a stable consistent cheek weld shot after shot supporting the precision the barrel and action are capable of delivering. Feeding from a 5 round Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition custom aluminum magazine with an open witness window the GL10 makes checking remaining ammunition simple at a glance.
