Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL10 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL10 is built around a 24 inch stainless steel barrel with 5R rifling and a 1:10 twist double thermally stress relieved and air gauged for consistent accuracy shot after shot. Chambered in 7mm Rem Mag the rifle delivers flat shooting hard hitting performance well suited to big game at extended ranges. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts the included muzzle brake which helps manage recoil from the powerful 7mm Rem Mag cartridge so shooters can stay on target for faster follow up shots. The direct impingement gas system cycles reliably through a rifle length gas tube keeping the AR-10 pattern action running smoothly. The billet 7075 aluminum upper and lower are finished in a bi-tone combination of OD Green Cerakote and stainless giving the rifle a distinctive rugged appearance built to resist wear in the field. A 20 inch aluminum M-LOK handguard provides ample real estate for mounting a bipod sling or other accessories while the full length Picatinny top rail accepts a wide range of optics for long range hunting. The Hogue OverMolded fixed rifle stock offers a comfortable non-slip cheek weld even in wet or cold conditions. Feeding from a 5 round Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition custom aluminum magazine and built with a mil-spec trigger breaking at 5.5 to 6 lbs the Great Lakes Firearms GL10 is a purpose built long range hunting rifle in a proven AR-10 platform.
