Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition GL10 Features The Great Lakes Firearms GL10 pairs the familiar AR-10 operating system with the hard hitting .30-06 Springfield cartridge for serious big game hunting. The 24 inch stainless steel barrel uses 5R rifling with a 1:8 twist and is double thermally stress-relieved and air-gauged during manufacturing for tighter more consistent accuracy. A 5/8x24 threaded muzzle comes fitted with a muzzle brake that helps manage recoil from the .30-06 chambering allowing faster follow-up shots in the field. Direct impingement operation and a rifle length gas system keep the action running smoothly across a range of hunting loads. The 7075-T6 aluminum receiver set wears a black Cerakote finish for corrosion resistance and a durable low glare appearance in the field. A full length Picatinny top rail gives shooters a reliable mounting surface for optics while the 20 inch M-LOK handguard provides plenty of real estate for lights slings or bipods. A Hogue OverMolded black synthetic stock and mil-spec grip deliver a secure comfortable hold whether shooting from a bench or a hunting blind. With a Great Lakes Firearms and Ammunition custom 5 round aluminum magazine and a mil-spec trigger breaking between 5.5 and 6 pounds the Great Lakes Firearms GL10 offers right-handed hunters an accurate dependable .30-06 rifle for sale at GrabAGun.
