Federal Top Gun Features The Federal Top Gun load is built around a 7/8 oz payload of #8 shot delivering the kind of consistent pattern density that competitive clay shooters depend on for repeatable scoring. Launched at 1210 fps this load provides enough velocity to break targets cleanly while keeping felt recoil manageable across a long day on the line. The 2.75 shell length chambers reliably in the vast majority of 20 Gauge shotguns used for trap skeet and sporting clays. A 2.38 dram equivalent powder charge rounds out a load tuned specifically for target shooting applications rather than hunting. Federal built the Top Gun line around the goal of consistent shot to shot performance which matters most when a shooter is trying to post a repeatable score across an entire round. This load is packaged for case quantity purchase giving dedicated shooters and clubs the volume needed to get through practice sessions and competitions without frequent reordering. The 20 Gauge platform offers a lighter shooting experience than larger gauges making this load approachable for shooters of varying experience levels. Federal Top Gun 20 Gauge is available for sale at GrabAGun for clay target shooters who want dependable proven performance on the line.
