Federal Top Gun Features The Federal Top Gun load in 28 gauge is designed specifically for skeet and sporting clays shooters who value consistency over everything else. Hard lead shot holds its shape better through the bore and choke which helps maintain tight even patterns from shell to shell. A consistent reliable Federal primer provides dependable ignition an important factor during long days of competition or practice. The eight-segment crimp keeps the payload secure in the hull and opens cleanly at the muzzle supporting smooth cycling in semi-auto and pump shotguns alike. A unique wad column is built into the load to reduce shot deformation and deliver more consistent patterns at the ranges common to skeet and sporting clays. The 3/4 ounce payload of #7.5 lead shot at 1330 feet per second gives the lighter-recoiling 28 gauge platform enough payload to break targets confidently. This 250-round case provides a substantial supply for practice league play and tournaments without frequent reordering. Federal s Top Gun line is offered for sale at GrabAGun for shooters who have moved to 28 gauge for its light comfortable recoil.
