Federal Cosmic Features The Federal Cosmic is built around a UV-fluorescent Podium wad that glows brilliantly under black light turning an ordinary round of clays into a nighttime event. That glowing wad is more than a novelty it gives shooters immediate visual confirmation of where their shot is traveling which helps with follow-through and target feedback in low light. Loaded with 1-1/8 oz of hard-hitting lead shot in #8 this 12 GA shell delivers the dense consistent patterns clay shooters depend on for breaking targets cleanly. A muzzle velocity of 1145 fps keeps the load performing predictably round after round. Federal s hull itself carries UV-fluorescent printing adding another layer of visibility to the overall nighttime shooting experience. The low brass plastic hull construction keeps the shell lightweight and reliable through repeated cycling in semi-auto and pump shotguns alike. Packaged 25 rounds to a box the Cosmic load is sized right for an evening at the clays course without excess bulk. Whether at a dedicated glow clays event or just extending a normal shoot into twilight the Federal Cosmic gives shooters more rounds and more fun once the lights go down.
