Federal Top Gun Target Features Federal Top Gun Target shotshells are loaded in 12 gauge with a 2.75 inch shell length delivering a 1 ounce payload of number 7.5 shot at a listed velocity of 1180 feet per second. This combination of shot size and velocity is well suited for clay target disciplines like trap and skeet where consistent patterns matter more than raw power. A reliable Federal primer provides consistent ignition across every shell in the case reducing the chance of a dud round interrupting a round of clays. The hard shot used in this load helps maintain pattern density downrange for better hit percentage on target. An eight-segment crimp holds the shot charge securely in place until firing contributing to consistent shell to shell performance. A unique wad column design further supports even predictable patterns giving shooters confidence that each shell will perform the same as the last. Packaged as a 250 round case this load is built for shooters who put significant volume through their shotguns during league play or practice sessions. For trap skeet and sporting clays shooters Federal Top Gun Target offers dependable affordable performance in bulk.
