SOG Specialty Knives Aegis FX Features The SOG Aegis FX is built around a full-tang 4116 Krupp stainless steel blade with a stonewashed finish hardened to 58-60 on the Rockwell scale for an edge that holds up under hard use. The 3.7 inch drop point blade with a plain edge is well suited to detail work like skinning and caping as well as general camp cutting tasks. At just 0.14 inches thick the blade stays light in the hand without sacrificing the strength a full-tang design provides. An overall length of 8.8 inches and a weight of 4.5 ounces keep the knife easy to carry all day in the field. The GRN handle finished in Forest with Moss Accents is molded for a confident ambidextrous grip and includes an overmolded rubberized section that improves control whether the knife is held in a standard or reverse grip. A Universal Mounting System compatible nylon sheath is included giving hunters several ways to carry the Aegis FX on a belt pack or vest. That versatility makes the knife equally at home on a hunting trip a camping excursion or as a dependable backup blade. Rugged corrosion resistant and genuinely functional the SOG Aegis FX is ready for outdoor adventure for sale at GrabAGun.
