SOG Specialty Knives Gambit Blackout Features The SOG Gambit Blackout is built around a full tang design giving the knife added strength through the handle and blade in a single piece of steel. The unique ergonomic handle shape is comfortable to hold in both forward and reverse grip giving the user flexibility depending on the task at hand. A sheepsfoot-style hooked 2-3/5 inch blade made from 7Cr17MoV stainless steel resembles a claw adding functionality for hooking tearing and ripping beyond simple cutting tasks. This blade geometry has historically been used for self-defense and agricultural work and remains effective for both today. A black oxide finish covers the blade reducing glare and adding a layer of corrosion resistance. The handle is made from glass reinforced nylon finished in black to match the blade for a cohesive tactical look. A hard nylon sheath ships with the knife for easy secure carry. At an overall length of 7-3/10 inches and a weight of just 2.8 ounces the SOG Gambit Blackout is light enough to carry daily while still offering the versatility of a hooked utility blade.
