S.O.G Rip Tide Features The S.O.G Rip Tide is built around a full tang 420 stainless steel blade giving the knife exceptional strength through the entire handle length along with strong resistance to corrosion in wet or humid environments. The 6.5 inch blade carries a black powder coated finish protecting the steel from scratches and reducing glare during outdoor use. A plain edge handles standard cutting tasks quickly and cleanly while saw back serrations along the spine give the knife added capability for cutting through tougher material like rope wood or bone. A concave profile on the blade is specifically useful for digging or foraging tasks in the field extending the knife s usefulness beyond typical cutting duty. An integrated cord cutter adds another dedicated utility feature letting the user quickly cut cordage without exposing the main edge to unnecessary wear. The handle is made from heavily textured polypropylene giving a safe and sure grip whether the user s hands are wet or dry which matters for a knife marketed toward outdoor and survival use. At 12 inches overall and 8.2 ounces the Rip Tide balances a substantial blade with a handle size that remains comfortable to carry and use for extended periods. Including a nylon sheath for secure carry the S.O.G Rip Tide is available for sale at GrabAGun for outdoorsmen who want a rugged full tang fixed blade built for field versatility.
