S.O.G Recondo FX Features The S.O.G Recondo FX traces its design lineage back to SOG s original warfighter knives and it shows in the full tang construction of its 4.6 Cryo 440C stainless steel blade. The Cryo 440C steel is heat treated for outstanding corrosion resistance and wear resistance holding an edge through repeated hard use. A partially serrated edge combines smooth push cuts with aggressive serrations for cutting through rope webbing and other stubborn materials. The satin TiCN blade finish adds further durability while keeping the profile low glare for discreet carry. The overmolded rubberized grip in Flat Dark Earth is shaped to fill the hand securely from multiple grip angles so control is never sacrificed when conditions turn wet or gloved hands are in play. SOG s ambidextrous UMS-compatible sheath rounds out the package offering multiple mounting options for belt pack or vest carry. A tool-less tension adjustment system lets the user fine-tune retention for the perfect draw every time without needing a screwdriver in the field. Weighing just 5.3 oz the Recondo FX is a lightweight dependable fixed blade for the elite user who demands performance wherever its deployed.
