SOG Specialty Knives Aegis FX Features The SOG Aegis FX is built around a full tang 3.70 drop point blade made from CRYO 4116 Krupp stainless steel chosen for its corrosion resistance and ability to hold an edge through demanding outdoor use. The satin finish gives the blade a clean traditional appearance while standing up to scratches and wear from daily carry. A plain edge keeps the cutting geometry simple and effective for general utility tasks in the field. At 8.80 overall and 4.70 oz the knife strikes a balance between a substantial confidence inspiring blade and manageable carry weight. The GRN handle is finished in Recue Red with Indigo accents and includes an overmolded rubberized grip area that improves control across hammer reverse and pinch grips alike. Full tang construction ties the blade and handle together for added strength when prying or batoning in the field. The included sheath uses SOG s Universal Mounting System giving the owner multiple ways to carry the knife depending on the activity. This SOG Aegis FX fixed blade knife is available for sale at GrabAGun for campers hunters and outdoor adventurers.
