S.O.G Pentagon FX Features The S.O.G Pentagon FX features a 4.77 inch spear point blade with a plain edge made from cryogenically heat-treated S35VN stainless steel hardened to 58-61 HRC for a combination of edge retention and toughness suited to hard use. Full-tang construction runs the length of the knife adding strength for batoning prying or other demanding field tasks a full-sized fixed blade might be asked to perform. The Flat Dark Earth G10 handles are removable allowing the user to customize or replace them as needed to suit mission requirements or personal preference. This modularity sets the Pentagon FX apart from fixed blade knives with non-removable handle scales. Included with the knife is a GRN sheath compatible with SOG s next-generation Universal Mounting System giving users flexible carry options across different belts vests or plate carrier setups. At 9.93 inches overall and weighing 6.5 oz the Pentagon FX strikes a balance between full-sized utility and a weight that does not become a burden during extended carry. SOG designed this knife specifically with input aimed at modern military and tactical use reflecting real-world mission demands.
