Apex Ammunition Predator TSS Features The Apex Ammunition Predator TSS load is built around tungsten super shot a dense alloy that hits harder than traditional lead or steel shot of the same size. Blending #2 and #4 shot in one payload gives the shooter a wider effective pattern that covers more vital area on predators hogs and other game at the end of the barrel. The 1-1/2 oz payload packs more pellets into each 20 gauge 3 shell than a comparable lead load improving the odds of a clean ethical harvest. A muzzle velocity of 1125 fps keeps the shot string moving fast enough to retain lethal energy well past typical shotgun ranges. Tungsten super shot has become the standard for shooters who demand turkey and predator loads that perform at distances once reserved for rifles and Apex built this load specifically for that role. The dense pellets resist deformation on impact driving deeper and transferring more energy than softer shot materials. Hunters chasing coyotes hogs or deer with a 20 gauge platform get a load that closes the performance gap with larger gauges. The Apex Ammunition Predator TSS 5-round box is available for sale at GrabAGun for hunters who want serious terminal performance from their 20 gauge shotgun.
